What you’ll bring:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Demonstrated experience with IEP implementation, especially push-in/pull-out models
• A genuine passion for helping students with diverse learning profiles
• The ability to deliver a balance of academic, behavioral, and emotional support
• Strong communication skills for effective parent and staff collaboration
• Familiarity with current special education laws and best practices
• Previous work with middle school populations and knowledge of developmental disabilities preferred

Your responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of 20 students or fewer, providing tailored instructional support
• Develop and adapt lesson plans to ensure all students meet their individual education goals
• Implement and monitor IEPs, coordinating closely with general education teachers and service providers
• Provide direct instruction in both push-in and pull-out settings
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation and progress reporting
• Engage with families to foster a collaborative approach to student achievement
