Our core values include integrity, trust and loyalty.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include:Coordinate SSPARS contractor support of facility/system integration effortsSupport of facility systems integration includes coordinating, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance with affected parties performing functional testing and system operation as requiredEnsure all work complies with the requirements set forth for the projectOrganize and implement construction programs that are assigned to this positionAssist with the management, scheduling and execution of projectsAssist with strategic planning, database support, training, drafting procedures, and budget submittalsPrepare cost estimates and statements of workEvaluate contractor proposalsReview documents for technical adequacy and assist with technical manualsMaintain ongoing and open two-way communication with Project Manager and client as main point of contactProvide technical expertise to assigned tasks/projectsConduct assigned technical work within budget and on scheduleConduct research, or other field work, as assignedAttend, participate, organize, and/or facilitate meetings as requested by the base customerPerform other duties as requiredQualificationsRelevant experience includes:Five years of experience in civil engineering workorder integration and resource management tasks, with experience organizing and implementing facility repairsIdentifying and resolving problems as they emerge to minimize issues and costs (time, manpower, and funds) and ensure compliance with facility maintenance requirementsAbility to work independently, organizing and implementing programs, and managing numerous tasks concurrentlyMust have excellent verbal and written communications skills, with experience preparing cost estimates and statements of work; evaluating contractor quotes; reviewing documents for technical accuracy; and preparing technical manualsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Microsoft Project, and drafting programsAbility to work well with others, and mentor/train team membersFlexibility to changing workloadsAssisting with strategic planningAbility to quickly master DoD unique transportation logistics systemsEducation:Bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical or electrical engineering – may be substituted for relevant work experience in facility management, integration experience or similar dutiesCertifications/Licensing:NoneSecurity Clearance:Currently hold or be able to obtain and maintain the proper US DoD issued security clearance, which requires US citizenship.
