RN - PACU

Travel RN PACU

Location: Sachse, TX

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 5:30 AM - 3:30 PM Call is required: 1 Friday/Saturday/Sunday, and 1 additional weekday per month.

Job Description: The Travel RN PACU will perform both PACU and pre-operative functions in a fast-paced environment. Successful candidates will bring extensive PACU experience to the team.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care in the PACU setting.
• Assist in pre-operative assessments and preparations.
• Monitor patient vital signs and recovery progress.
• Manage patient comfort and pain in the PACU.
• Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Phase 1 PACU experience greater than 2 years is required.
• ACLS certification is required.
• Preoperative/PAT experience is preferred.
