Collections & Project Coordinator

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The Collections & Project Coordinator serves as a liaison between Dobson and the customer to whom the service is rendered and oversees projects for development of the Call Center.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines. Proactively monitor the accounts receivable and identify overdue accounts. Contact customers with overdue accounts and attempt to either collect or negotiate a payment plan to collect. Resolve customer issues and complaints concerning billing. Update account status records and collection efforts. Report on collection activity and accounts receivable status. Utilize all applications to perform tasks to notify customer base on status of their accounts. Performing quality control on projects throughout development to maintain the standards expected. Content writer on policy and procedures within the Call Center Billing System. Assist in efforts to train and up-skill Call Center Employees. Develop detailed work plans, schedules, estimates, resource plans and status reports. Analyze statistics and compile accurate reports. Organize and create accurate timelines. Keep open communication and form working relationships between departments. Maintain an orderly workflow according to priorities.

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

Bachelor’s degree required. Proven experience as a Collection Specialist Critical thinking skills Skilled in negotiation Patience and ability to manage stress. At least five years of related experience required, with prior project management experience. Strong strategic and customer focus with a clear understanding of the wider issues impacting the relevant markets. Demonstrate ability to motivate and communicate with others at all levels. Influential relationships skills at all. Able to use these relationships to deliver service improvements. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
