Field Application Specialist - Bioprocessing - Fluid Management Technology (Single Use) - Southeast

Sartorius Corporation

Sartorius seeks a Field Application Specialist to support customers in the Southeast with fluid management technology for bioprocessing. The role combines technical sales, customer support, and application development across the Raleigh/Durham region with remote flexibility and potential travel to adjacent states.

Responsibilities

Identify prospective customers and qualify new business opportunities through proactive technical engagement
Plan and execute technical demonstrations and trials to validate customer fit
Advance opportunities by positioning solutions and addressing technical objections
Provide pre- and post-sales technical support to secure adoption and ensure smooth customer transitions
Capture and share customer insights and competitive intelligence to influence product development

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in life sciences, biotechnology, engineering, or equivalent professional experience
3+ years technical sales, applications support, or pre-sales experience in scientific environments
Single-use bioprocessing experience highly valued
Proven ability to identify and advance new business opportunities
Strong hands-on technical capability with product demonstrations and customer trials
Consultative communication skills for diverse stakeholders
CRM proficiency and structured sales process discipline; willingness to travel >50%
