Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents and develop individualized OT plans focused on activities of daily living, mobility, and functional independence.
- Implement and adjust therapeutic interventions and treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and progress.
- Document progress notes, goals, and outcomes in the patient record according to regulatory and facility policies.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support discharge planning, safety, and patient education.
- Instruct patients and families on therapeutic exercises and adaptive techniques to maximize independence and safety.
- Adhere to infection control, privacy, and safety guidelines while maintaining professional boundaries and ethical standards.

Requirements
- Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license or eligibility in the state of practice.
- Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program.
- Experience in acute care or skilled nursing settings is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-centered care environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness to participate in a 13-week travel assignment in the Albuquerque area.
- Commitment to comply with all applicable policies, safety guidelines, and privacy regulations.
