Job Summary Mass General Brigham Rheumatology is seeking a Per Diem Medical Assistant to join a highly collaborative, tight-knit clinical team supporting two outpatient sites in Dover and Portsmouth, NH. This role is ideal for an experienced Medical Assistant who enjoys variety, teamwork, and a strong patient-centered environment. You'll support a busy rheumatology practice with 4 providers, 1 LPN, 3 Medical Assistants, including 1 Lead MA, working within a supportive group known for long tenure, strong teamwork, and a culture of teaching and mentorship. During onboarding and training, hours will be consistent and structured to support learning and ramp-up. Once fully trained, the position transitions to per diem coverage, primarily supporting time off, vacations, and clinic needs typically around 1 day per week on average. Schedule released typically about 1 month in advance Job Description Summary (Role Overview) The Medical Assistant supports healthcare teams by providing both clinical and administrative assistance under the direction of providers. This includes direct patient care activities, documentation, coordination of patient flow, and support of daily clinic operations to ensure efficient and high-quality care delivery. This role involves meaningful patient interaction and close collaboration with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and fellow Medical Assistants.
