Full-Time Lead Hospital Housekeeper - 1st Shift

Xanitos is hiring a Full time Lead EVS Hospital Housekeeper for 1st Shift. Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center in Houston TX.

• 1st Shift
  • 7:00am to 3:30pm
• Hourly Pay Rate $17.00
• Includes every other weekend/holiday.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Assist with EVS frontline staff.
• Help set up for shift change.
• Provide assistance to frontline staff with any housekeeping process or procedure.
• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
• Sweeps and/or vacuums floor.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Polishes metalwork.
• Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empties wastebasket and Transports trash and waste to the disposal area.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies.
• Transports small equipment or tools between departments.

Job Qualifications:

• Experience in the janitorial industry a plus.
• Medical cleaning a plus.
• Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent required.
