What You'll Do As a Billing Assistant, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our patients have a seamless billing experience. Your responsibilities will include: Verifying insurance coverage and eligibility prior to patient appointments. Collecting copays and outstanding balances. Answering patient billing questions with professionalism and tact. Setting up payment plans and scheduling appointments. Communicating with patients over the phone regarding collections. Navigating electronic medical systems efficiently. Your work will directly impact the patient experience, making you an essential part of our team. What We\'re Looking For We’re searching for someone who: Has at least 1 year of experience in a similar role. Is comfortable using electronic medical systems. Communicates effectively and tactfully, especially over the phone. Understands the basics of healthcare insurance coverage. Is detail-oriented, punctual, organized, and able to multitask in a busy environment.
