Site Reliability Engineer I Join our team at Alegeus as a Site Reliability Engineer I to drive technology vision, innovate, and solve high‑impact technical challenges for critical web applications. Responsibilities Front‑line support for critically important web applications across Development, Beta, and Production environments, including 24/7 on‑call rotations. Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, identify root causes, and deliver effective, timely resolutions. Collaborate across teams, triage escalations, partner with other support tiers, and interface with technical teams and stakeholders to drive company‑wide success. Participate in Agile/SAFe processes and support deployments in on‑prem and cloud (AWS/Azure) environments. Manage escalations professionally, resolve customer concerns efficiently, and ensure SLA compliance and high service standards. Qualifications 1–3 years of experience in SRE, technical support, or software engineering. Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming and SDLC, with hands‑on scripting experience (C#, Java, Python). Basic SQL/PostgreSQL knowledge and code branching/merging skills. Familiarity with cloud computing best practices, deployment, management, and security. Solid project management and communication skills. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience. Location & Working Arrangement This is a hybrid position requiring presence in the office 25% of the time, available in Boston, Maitland, or Milwaukee. The posted range reflects the minimum and maximum target for this position’s compensation grade across three hub locations. Individual compensation is determined by job‑related skills, experience, and education.
