Senior Manager Tax- CPA

Kforce's client, a well-respected public accounting firm, seeks a Senior Tax Manager - CPA in Stamford, CT. Summary: In this position, you will assist with client relations, provide day-to-day accounting support to a portfolio of clients, and manager engagements, prepare tax filings as well as research and planning activities. This is a unique firm that offers a balanced "Quality of Life". Public accounting experience and a CPA certification are required. Responsibilities:
- Implementing and overseeing the tax plan
- Performing managerial functions in the office
- Prepare the required government documents concerning taxes
- Ensure the accuracy of all documents
- Offering solutions to pressing tax problems
- Working with a diverse group of people to further the goals of the company
- Accurately and efficiently managing tax reporting and planning and ensuring compliance of tax laws for the company or client
* CPA
- 5+ years of public tax accounting experience
- Expertise with international, domestic, state, and local tax compliance
