Summary

Land O’Frost is seeking a Manager, Corporate Regulatory Affairs to lead regulatory compliance and risk management efforts across our organization. This role will serve as a key partner to cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with USDA regulations while supporting innovation, product launches, and operational excellence. This is a high-impact role responsible for guiding regulatory strategy, managing labeling and compliance processes, and acting as a critical liaison during regulatory events and communications.

How YOU will Contribute

Regulatory Leadership & Risk Management

\n
• Provide regulatory guidance for new product launches and existing products across Land O’Frost, customers, and co-manufacturers
\n
• Lead crisis management oversight, including mitigation planning and execution
\n
• Serve as regulatory liaison for withdrawals and recalls, ensuring proper documentation and verification of corrective actions
\n
• Identify and manage product risks in collaboration with Food Safety, including root cause analysis and mitigation strategies
\n

FSIS & Labeling Compliance

\n
• Direct and oversee FSIS regulatory compliance for labeling, raw materials, ingredients, packaging, and specifications
\n
• Manage USDA label submissions, including generic approvals
\n
• Review and approve label graphics and packaging artwork
\n
• Deliver training on label review and approval processes
\n

Cross-Functional Collaboration

\n
• Partner with R&D, Operations, Quality, and Food Safety teams on product launches, process changes, and OGSM initiatives
\n
• Serve as the Regulatory representative on co-manufacturer projects
\n
• Conduct regulatory audits at vendor and co-manufacturer facilities to ensure compliance
\n

Regulatory Expertise & Communication

\n
• Communicate new and changing regulatory requirements to internal teams, including training as needed
\n
• Respond to regulatory and compliance inquiries from internal and external stakeholders
\n
• Conduct regulatory research to ensure best practices and continuous improvement
\n

About YOU

\n
• 5+ years of USDA regulatory experience preferred
\n
• Food manufacturing experience required
\n
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Safety, Regulatory Compliance, Agriculture, or related field required
\n
• Master’s degree preferred
\n
• HACCP Certification required
\n
• Strong knowledge of USDA meat and poultry regulations
\n
• Expertise in USDA food labeling requirements
\n
• Proven ability to manage risk, audits, and regulatory compliance in a manufacturing environment
