About the Role
The Company is seeking an Assistant Vice President for Online Learning to provide strategic and administrative oversight of its online programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for advancing the institution's vision of high-quality, scalable online education that enhances access, supports student success, and strengthens the competitive position in the higher education marketplace. This role involves close collaboration with deans, faculty, and various teams to develop and grow market-responsive online programs, ensure excellence in instructional design and digital pedagogy, and implement effective student support models. The AVP will also lead a multidisciplinary team and use data, market intelligence, and industry partnerships to inform program strategy and sustain long-term program viability. Applicants for the AVP position should have a strong background in online education, instructional design, and digital pedagogy. The role requires a leader who can provide strategic vision and long-term planning for the institution's online learning portfolio, including credit and non-credit programs. The ideal candidate will have experience in program development, quality assurance, and a proven track record of driving enrollment growth. A multidisciplinary approach and the ability to work with diverse teams are essential. The AVP will be at the forefront of the company's online learning initiatives, and as such, a deep understanding of the evolving higher education landscape and a commitment to the values of teaching, learning, and service are paramount.
