Senior Account Executive - Packaging

We are looking for a highly connected Senior Account Executive with expert experience in packaging and established relationships within the Apparel, Beauty, Cosmetics, Skincare, Wellness, Accessories, or Consumer Goods industries .

This is not a traditional sales role. We are seeking a packaging industry professional who understands the packaging landscape, knows the key players, and has existing relationships with brands and decision-makers. You will leverage your packaging expertise, industry knowledge, and network to open doors, build strategic partnerships, and drive new business growth.

Direct experience selling or developing packaging solutions for Apparel, Beauty, Cosmetics, Skincare, Wellness, Accessories, or Consumer Goods brands is required. Candidates without this industry experience and an established network will not be considered.

• Develop new business with brands in the Apparel, Beauty, Cosmetics, Skincare, Wellness, Accessories, and Consumer Goods industries
• Leverage existing industry relationships to open doors and generate new opportunities
• Build relationships with key decision-makers across Packaging Development, Product Development, Sourcing, Procurement, Production, Brand Marketing, and Supply Chain
• Grow and expand strategic customer accounts
• Identify cross-sell and new business opportunities
• Develop and execute account growth strategies
• Present packaging solutions, negotiate pricing, and close business
• Maintain a strong pipeline and accurate forecasting in Salesforce
• Partner closely with Product Development, Customer Service, Operations, Production, and our Hong Kong teams
• Serve as a trusted packaging resource throughout the development process, from concept through production
• Represent the company at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed
  

Required:

• 5+ years of experience in Packaging Sales, Packaging Development, or Packaging Production
• Direct experience supporting Apparel, Beauty, Cosmetics, Skincare, Wellness, Accessories, or Consumer Goods brands
• An established network of relationships within these industries that can be leveraged for business development
• Proven experience selling packaging solutions or working directly with brands on packaging development
• Relationships with VP, Director, and Manager-level contacts in areas such as Packaging Development, Product Development, Sourcing, Procurement, Production, Brand Marketing, or Supply Chain
• A strong understanding of packaging materials, construction, development, sourcing, and production processes
• Experience with packaging solutions such as rigid boxes, constructed boxes, corrugated packaging, folding cartons, wraps, sleeves, plastic packaging, and premium product packaging
• A demonstrated ability to generate and close new business
• A proactive, hunter mentality and the ability to open new doors
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Experience working with cross-functional and international teams
• CRM experience, preferably Salesforce

Preferred:

• Experience selling premium or custom packaging solutions
• Existing relationships with mid-market or enterprise Apparel, Beauty, or Consumer Goods brands
• Experience managing packaging programs from concept through production
• Experience working with overseas production or sourcing teams
  

This role reports directly to the Manager of Strategic Accounts and is responsible for driving new account development, strategic relationship management, and account growth across the Apparel, Beauty, Cosmetics, Skincare, Wellness, Accessories, and Consumer Goods industries.
