Representing the Louisiana Department of Health, the full-time Louisiana Appeals Coordinator will manage appeal hearings by preparing summaries of evidence, monitoring deadlines, and collaborating with internal departments, all while working remotely. Key responsibilities Review decision letters and prepare summary of evidence files for appeal hearings Monitor deadlines to ensure timely submission of appeal documentation Conduct appeal hearings over the phone with the Division of Administrative Law Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in health and human services, social work, sociology, psychology, or a related field Desire to work with the public and assist adults in need Louisiana residency
