Job Title Registered Nurse – Operating Room Location Charleston, SC Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days, 4x10-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) | On-call required (up to 4 call shifts per 4-week period) | Up to one weekend shift per 4-week period | Holiday coverage required Key Responsibilities Scrub and circulate surgical procedures across a wide range of specialties including Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics Provide direct patient care within a high-volume, Level I Trauma Center operating room environment Collaborate within a nurse-driven OR team consisting of Registered Nurses and Certified Surgical Technologists Utilize EPIC for clinical documentation and charting Float within scope to meet facility needs across like units as required Participate in emergency response team assignments as needed, including during hurricane season (June through November) Required Qualifications Active South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact RN license (SC license must be active prior to start) Current BLS certification Radiation badge required (provided by agency) Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room RN experience strongly preferred Experience at or familiarity with Level I Trauma Center standards Preferred Experience / Skills Scrub experience in the OR setting strongly preferred Experience with EPIC electronic health records system Background in a Magnet-designated or academic teaching facility Why Join Us Join a dynamic, Magnet-designated OR department within a Level I academic trauma center featuring 21 OR suites and cutting-edge surgical technology Work in a nurse-driven environment covering a broad range of surgical specialties with opportunities to develop both scrub and circulate skills Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 771926.
