Our Business Support teams enable our trading and engineering teams to perform at their best.At Tower, employees will find a stimulating, results-oriented environment where highly intelligent and motivated colleagues inspire each other to reach their greatest potential.Responsibilities:Designing, implementing, and deploying high-frequency trading algorithmsExploring trading ideas by analyzing market data and market microstructure for patternsCreating tools to analyze data for patternsContributing to libraries of analytical computations to support market data analysis and tradingDeveloping, augmenting, and calibrating exchange simulatorsCommunicating with internal and external trade support, market centers, and other parties to handle real-time trading issues and improve understanding of specific marketsShaping the future of Tower through regular interviewing and infrequent campus recruiting tripsQualifications:A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, or related fields0-2 years of experienceProficient in an object-oriented programming language (C++ and Python preferred)A working knowledge of Linux/Unix Strong problem-solving abilitiesA passion for new technologies and ideasThe ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skillsInterest in financial marketsPreferred Qualifications (not required):Past industry experienceExperience as a Teaching Assistant and/or participation in relevant OlympiadsFamiliarity with machine learning, data analysis, market research and data modelingAnticipated New York and Chicago annual base salary range $150,000 - $250,000, plus eligible for discretionary bonus.Benefits:Tower’s headquarters are in the historic Equitable Building, right in the heart of NYC’s Financial District and our impact is global, with over a dozen offices around the world.
