Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Days
This position offers 8-hour days, Monday through Friday. Times are flexible as long as they are consistent and communicated with the Director of Rehabilitation (DOR).
The role of the assessing therapist involves managing a lighter caseload while taking on some responsibilities of the DOR. Duties include attending morning and facility meetings and managing the schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strong leadership and direction to the rehabilitation team (PT, OT, ST, PTA, COTA).
- Oversee and ensure compliance with PDPM processes.
- Develop and enhance rehabilitation programs for high-acuity patients.
- Foster collaboration among interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Monitor and analyze clinical and financial performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- 1 year of SLP experience - Required
- Experience in a leadership role within a SNF/LTC rehab setting - Required
- Knowledge of PDPM - Required
- MO State License - Required
