Buscamos un Gerente de Restaurante apasionado y experimentado para liderar nuestro equipo, mantener altos estándares operativos y garantizar que cada cliente sienta la esencia de la hospitalidad puertorriqueña. Responsabilidades: Supervisar las operaciones diarias del restaurante, asegurando un servicio excelente y una experiencia gastronómica de alta calidad. Liderar, capacitar y motivar al personal para ofrecer un servicio excepcional y eficiente. Administrar el inventario, realizar pedidos y controlar costos de alimentos para minimizar desperdicios y maximizar la rentabilidad. Garantizar el cumplimiento de las normativas de salud, seguridad e higiene. Crear horarios de trabajo, monitorear costos laborales y asegurar niveles adecuados de personal. Manejar consultas, quejas y comentarios de los clientes con profesionalismo y enfoque en la satisfacción. Implementar estrategias de marketing, promociones y participación comunitaria para aumentar las ventas. Mantener la limpieza, organización y ambiente del restaurante, reflejando la cultura y autenticidad de la cocina puertorriqueña. Utilizar sistemas de punto de venta (POS) para rastrear ventas, analizar el rendimiento y gestionar procedimientos de manejo de efectivo. Colaborar con el personal de cocina para garantizar la consistencia del menú, el control de calidad y la eficiencia en la preparación de alimentos. Requisitos: Experiencia: Mínimo 2 años en gestión de restaurantes, preferiblemente en un entorno de comida rápida casual o servicio rápido. Liderazgo: Habilidad para dirigir, motivar y desarrollar un equipo. Servicio al Cliente: Pasión por la hospitalidad y la creación de un ambiente acogedor. Conocimientos Financieros: Experiencia en presupuestos, gestión de inventarios y control de costos. Resolución de Problemas: Capacidad para manejar situaciones de alta presión, resolver conflictos y tomar decisiones rápidas. Comunicación: Excelente habilidad verbal y escrita. Se prefiere bilingüe (inglés y español). Conocimientos Tecnológicos: Familiaridad con sistemas POS, software de programación de horarios y marketing digital es una ventaja. Resumen del Puesto: Como miembro del equipo de cocina (Back of House), serás responsable de garantizar la preparación de alimentos de alta calidad, la limpieza de la cocina y la eficiencia general del área de cocina. Trabajarás en estrecha colaboración con el equipo de cocina para preparar, cocinar y presentar platos tradicionales puertorriqueños mientras mantienes un ambiente de trabajo limpio y organizado. Responsabilidades: Preparar ingredientes y cocinar los platillos del menú según las recetas y estándares del restaurante. Asegurar que la calidad de los alimentos, las porciones y la presentación cumplan con las expectativas del restaurante. Operar equipos de cocina, como parrillas, freidoras y hornos, de manera segura y eficiente. Mantener la limpieza y organización de las estaciones de trabajo, áreas de almacenamiento y equipos de cocina. Seguir todas las normas de seguridad alimentaria y saneamiento para cumplir con las regulaciones de salud. Ayudar con tareas de preparación de alimentos, como picar vegetales, marinar carnes y hacer salsas. Colaborar con el equipo de cocina para completar los pedidos de los clientes de manera eficiente. Ayudar con el lavado de platos, reabastecimiento de ingredientes y tareas de limpieza al final del turno. Monitorear los niveles de inventario y comunicar cualquier escasez o necesidad de reposición al gerente. Seguir los procedimientos adecuados de almacenamiento de alimentos para mantener la frescura y minimizar el desperdicio. Realizar otras tareas asignadas por el Gerente de Cocina o Chef Principal. Requisitos: Experiencia previa en cocina, preparación de alimentos o cocina profesional preferida, pero no obligatoria. Conocimiento de la cocina puertorriqueña o disposición para aprender técnicas de cocina tradicionales. Capacidad para trabajar en un ambiente dinámico y bajo presión. Atención al detalle y compromiso con la calidad de los alimentos. Capacidad para estar de pie durante largos períodos y levantar hasta 50 libras. Habilidad para seguir recetas e instrucciones con precisión. Conocimientos básicos sobre seguridad alimentaria e higiene.
