Flexible schedule: support staff available, work 2 weeks per month, days only Competitive hourly pay rate of $253.50 (plus travel & licensure reimbursements) Opportunity to work with a dedicated, well-established outpatient clinic in a scenic community Quick Facts Location: 1 Good Samaritan Way, Mount Vernon, IL 62864 Start Date: 08/31/2026 (flexible start in early September) End Date: 11/30/2026 (with potential for extension) Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (unpaid 1-hour lunch) Hours/Week: 40 hours Employment Type: Contract (W-2) Licensure/Certs: Illinois Medical License required; BLS certification needed Experience: Minimum 1 year, fellowship in Endocrinology required Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: $253.50/hour (competitive and discussed upon application) Benefits: Weekly pay via direct deposit Medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, travel, and certification reimbursements Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated team support throughout assignment What You’ll Do Manage common endocrine conditions such as hyper/hypothyroidism, Graves' disease, thyroid nodules, pituitary disorders, and diabetes Perform fine needle aspiration (FNA) procedures Support outpatient care, collaborating with support staff including RNs, diabetes educator, dietitian, and APP Document patient encounters using EPIC EMR system Provide expert consultation and develop treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients Support quality improvement initiatives What You Need Required: MD/DO with active Illinois license Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine with Endocrinology fellowship BLS certification 1+ years of clinical experience in endocrinology Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Preferred: Experience performing fine needle aspirations Strong clinical documentation skills About the Assignment Join a reputable outpatient clinic located in Mount Vernon, IL, providing specialized care for adult and Geriatric patients.
