About the Position

#1985S - Make Your Own Schedule! 10 Days per Month in Beautiful Wyoming!

We currently have a need for locum tenens nurse practitioner or physician assistant. The advanced practice provider (NP/PA) will be responsible for primary and emergency care of patients in a small, rural facility located in the northern region of Wyoming. This position will require you to treat patients as a solo provider, with RN support staff available. This position is an ER On-Call with primary care rounding on patients admitted to hospital by locum. 24 hour shifts 10 days per month. Extremely flexible schedule!

DATES: ASAP and Ongoing until a permanent provider has been hired.

OVERVIEW:

• Locum Tenens
• ER On-Call + Rounding on admitted patients
• 24 hours per shift primarily for ER On-Call
• Create your own schedule by stacking your 24 hour shifts or spread them out to fit your schedule. Maximum of 10 shifts per month.
• Patient volume 5 per ED 24 hour shift

COMPENSATION DETAILS:

• Pay: $65/hr for each 24 hour shift. ($1560/shift)
• 1099 contractor position
• Medical malpractice insurance provided
• Housing and travel expenses included

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant License with State of Wyoming
• ATLS, ACLS, PALS
• Active DEA Registration
• Two (2) years minimum experience in emergency medicine, preferably in a remote setting.
