Role Overview

We are seeking a .NET Developer for a contract position in New York City. This role involves backend development within a global markets context. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with .NET/C# and a proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance development efficiency. This position requires strong technical and communication skills to work effectively across teams.

Required Qualifications

Experience: 7-10 years of professional software development experience.

Technical Skills:

• Strong .NET / C# backend development experience.
• Proven ability to use AI tools in day-to-day development (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, internal AI tools, code assistants).
• Ability to connect and leverage multiple AI tools to improve development efficiency.
• Comfortable with coding assessments during interviews.

Professional Skills:

• Strong communication and networking skills to work effectively across teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Stock Loan / Securities Lending / Equities Finance systems.
• A background in financial services or Capital Markets.
• Experience with Python.
• Experience with Quartz.

Compensation & Benefits

The anticipated pay range for this position is $66.00/hour to $71.13/hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and experience.
