Desktop Support SpecialistKey Responsibilities 1. Check-In Check in with the designated Manager on Duty (MOD). Confirm the work order and identify the equipment/lane(s) assigned for installation. 2. Deinstallation Remove the existing/legacy device and associated cables as instructed. Ensure all removed equipment and cables are handled appropriately. 3. Installation Install the new P630/M425 device and required cables. Ensure all equipment is properly connected and securely installed. 4. Device Configuration Enter the required network parameters. Pair and configure the POS device as instructed. Initiate any required software or configuration downloads. 5. Device Downloads and Reboot Allow the device to complete all automatic downloads and required reboots. Verify that the device is operating correctly. Perform a test sale/transaction for registration, as instructed by the client. 6. Testing Coordinate with the Branch/Store Manager to complete the required testing. Perform the test transaction and verify that the installation is functioning correctly. 7. Checkout Obtain the required sign-off on the work order. Clean the work area and ensure no installation materials or debris are left behind. Complete the checkout process with the client or Manager on Duty (MOD). #J-18808-Ljbffr Techify Care, Inc.
