Bala Consulting Engineers is a 200‑person engineering firm headquartered in Wayne, PA with offices in New York, Boston, Baltimore and Washington, DC. We are seeking an ambitious Plumbing & Fire Protection Engineer to join the Arlington, VA office. This role focuses on designing, sizing, and detailing plumbing and fire protection systems for diverse project types. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field Minimum of 2 years experience (internship or co‑op experience considered for recent graduates) Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD Knowledge of plumbing and fire protection system design Familiarity with applicable codes and standards Strong communication, presentation, and client interface skills Responsibilities Layout and sizing of plumbing and fire protection systems Equipment layout and sizing Determine schedules and details required for the project Ensure flow of information between disciplines Assist in writing reports and feasibility studies Review shop drawings with project engineer Field contractor questions Benefits Bala’s compensation package includes a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package. #J-18808-Ljbffr Bala Consulting Engineers
