Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing Speech-Language Pathology services at the elementary level near Maywood, IL. This position offers the chance to support a diverse caseload of 35 students for the 2026–2027 school year, fostering communication success from August through June.
Desired Experience & Credentials:
- Active Illinois SLP License required
- Open to those holding SLP-CCC or completing their CFY
- Previous experience in a school setting or working with elementary students is a plus
- Strong communication and collaboration skills essential
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech therapy services tailored to an elementary student caseload
- Evaluate and assess students’ communication abilities using evidence-based methods
- Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with student IEPs and educational goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to maximize student progress
- Maintain detailed records of services, progress, and compliance with district and state policies
Position Details:
- Expected start: August 2026
- End date: June 2027
- Full-time, 35 hours weekly across five days
- Caseload: 35 elementary students
