Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Maywood, IL

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Hold or be eligible for state licensure as an SLP
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFY candidates welcome
• Experience or passion for working with pediatric and school-aged populations
• Proficiency with school-based documentation and IEP processes
• Adaptability to deliver therapy in-person and/or through teletherapy platforms
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multi-disciplinary teams to support student progress
• Maintain clear, accurate therapy and progress records in compliance with school and state standards
• Engage in the RTI process and contribute to eligibility meetings as needed
• Participate in professional development and training opportunities
