Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

The role is ideal for professionals experienced with pediatric populations, and supports both on-site and teletherapy services for varied caseloads.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active Illinois SLP license and CCC-SLP credential (Clinical Fellowship Year professionals considered)
• Experience in school settings preferred, including familiarity with IEP development and delivery
• Background in pediatric therapy and a strong interest in special education
• Comfort with technology to support teletherapy initiatives
• Knowledge of healthcare and educational requirements for SLPs

Role Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders within a K-12 school population
• Develop, implement, and track progress on individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Utilize digital tools and IEP systems to document and report progress; training provided as needed
• Participate actively in team meetings, planning sessions, and ongoing collaboration with school staff
• Engage with families and caregivers to provide support and progress updates
• Travel between multiple school sites as an itinerant SLP (paid travel included)
• Provide or receive supervision, based on professional experience and district protocols
