Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students’ communication growth in a dynamic school environment for the upcoming 26/27 academic year! This onsite contract role offers the chance to utilize your skills as a Speech-Language Pathologist, working a consistent Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm (35 hours per week) with a daily duty-free lunch.

You’ll have a manageable caseload of approximately 35 students, plus a small group requiring RTI/MTSS support. Your expertise will make a tangible impact across diverse needs including expressive, receptive, and pragmatic language, articulation/phonology, and fluency. Support includes one 3rd grade instructional classroom (smaller, cross-categorical), and minimal S/L–only case management—typically 5–10 students. With placements all at the grade level, you’ll focus your impact and effectively manage documentation and IEP responsibilities.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Pathology Endorsement required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Experience or desire to work in school-based settings with students presenting a variety of speech and language needs
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
• Ability to independently manage a caseload and documentation

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver therapy services to assigned caseload
• Conduct assessments and participate in the IEP process
• Support small group and individual instruction in language and articulation goals
• Provide RTI/MTSS support as needed
• Serve as case manager for S/L–only students
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families
