Overview Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Personnel Security Specialist supporting the TMAS 2 Contract with the 47 Cyberspace Test Squadron . Job Details Our Personnel Security team is seeking a new member to help conduct system security analysis on systems and software to identify vulnerabilities. Responsibilities may include compliance testing and penetration testing, depending on your skillset. Location & Details Location: Lackland AFB, TX Job Status: Full-Time Travel: 10% Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and 3-10 years of relevant experience, or additional relevant experience in lieu of education. Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI; U.S. Citizenship required. At least 5 years of experience with SCI personnel security procedures. Responsibilities Establish local procedures for processing security clearance requests for military and civilian personnel. Initiate and review security investigations requests in accordance with directives. Ensure proper screening, verification, and documentation for security clearances. Analyze requests to determine validity for access. Evaluate the sensitivity of positions and determine investigation types. Maintain files and records related to clearances. Prioritize investigation requests and clearance records. Review security clearance requests for issues related to loyalty, character, or conduct. Assist commanders in establishing Security Information Files (SIF). Establish and maintain SIFs for supported organizations. Be flexible to work in other security disciplines such as security education, physical security, information security, industrial security, media control, and OPSEC.
