Regional Sales Consultant

Overview
The Regional Sales Consultant serves as a strategic advisor to regional leadership, helping drive sales performance and consistent execution across the branch network. This role partners closely with Regional Executives and market leaders to translate sales strategy into actionable plans that drive growth, deepen client relationships, and strengthen business results.
Through coaching, consultation, and performance analysis, the Regional Sales Consultant identifies opportunities to enhance sales effectiveness, improve execution, and promote adoption of best practices. The role provides ongoing guidance to branch teams, ensuring sales activities align with organizational goals, regulatory expectations, and a client-first approach. This position supports the branch network in the Community West region.
Responsibilities & QualificationsSales Execution
- Partner with branch and regional leaders to drive sales performance and achieve business goals.
- Ensure consistent execution of sales strategies, service standards, and client-focused sales practices.
- Analyze sales trends and performance data to identify opportunities and improve results.
- Champion adoption of a consultative, needs-based sales approach.
Sales Coaching & Development
- Coach branch associates and managers to strengthen sales skills, product knowledge, and leadership effectiveness.
- Identify performance gaps and provide targeted development plans.
- Reinforce sales management routines that drive accountability and results.
- Support recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and talent assessment activities.
Partnership & Influence
- Collaborate with Sales Effectiveness and regional leadership to implement sales initiatives and programs.
- Lead sales huddles, communications, and recognition efforts to drive engagement and execution.
- Share best practices and performance insights across markets.
- Advocate for branch teams by identifying and addressing barriers to sales success.
- Partner with regional executives to provide recommendations that enhance sales performance and client outcomes
Position Specific Skills:
Knowledge of banking products and services
Sales performance coaching
Ability to travel frequently, often with little notice, including overnight travel
Qualifications:
Minimum Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree and 6 years' experience OR High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent and 10 years' experience in Sales Leadership or Sales Coaching in the Financial Services industry
