# **Job Description****Additional Job Information*** Sign-On Bonus Eligible $20,000* Relocation Assistance Eligible* 36 Hours per week* Monday - Friday* 9 Hour Shifts, 4 Days per Week* 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.* Minimal Call - OR takes first call - GI Lab takes secondary call, 2 weekdays per month - Ending at 11:00 p.m. - Rarely called back* No Weekend Call* GI Lab Preop, Circulating, and Recovery Room* Prefer candidate with 1 year of RN experience.* FREE, covered parking across the street with an enclosed bridge walkway!* Benefits begin on first day of employment!* Apply today and meet our outstanding GI team!### ## **Overview****Job Summary**Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning implementation, and evaluation within the guidelines of the standards of nursing care.**Job Responsibilities*** Educates patients and their families on how to manage their illness or injury, including post treatment home care needs and medication administration.* Uses critical thinking skills to assess and evaluate patient's physical, psychosocial and emotional needs.* Develops and implements individual plans of care in collaboration with other members of the healthcare team in accordance with the established guidelines and standards of nursing care. Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment.* Evaluates patient's response and modifies plan of care accordingly throughout the patient's stay.* Participates in activities that promote safety, quality and regulatory compliance. Participates in professional development and lifelong learning.* Boone Health has determined this is a safety-sensitive position.
