Restaurant Supervisor

About the Role

Our client, a Mediterranean cuisine restaurant located in St Julian’s, is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Supervisor to join its team.

The selected candidate will support the day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring excellent customer service, smooth coordination between front and back-of-house teams, and high operational standards at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily restaurant operations and ensure smooth service flow.
• Lead and support front-of-house staff during service.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction.
• Handle customer queries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
• Assist with staff scheduling, training, and onboarding.
• Monitor cleanliness, presentation, and hygiene standards throughout the restaurant.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient communication and service.
• Support stock control and operational procedures where required.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and HACCP standards.
• Assist management in achieving operational and service targets.

Requirements

• Candidates must be residing in Malta or hold a valid EU residence permit .
• Previous experience in a supervisory role within hospitality or restaurant operations is required.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Fluent English is required; additional languages will be considered an asset.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Good organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
