Fives North American Combustion, Inc. is hiring a permanent, full-time Field Service Technician to join our team in Cuyahoga Heights, OH.

At Fives, we all have a part to play in achieving our common mission. Your role will be:

• Analyze the customer site situation, assemble information from the customer regarding the open issues, and create a plan to remedy identified opportunities
• Responsible for commissioning, tuning, and troubleshooting a variety of combustion systems
• Be able to navigate through PLC and HMI programs, making program changes with the supervision of the control group
• Identify code compliance deviations and draft code compliance letters as required
• Assign quotes, create project folders, estimate, generate proposals, JSA’s, and project books for field services
• Support external and internal sales opportunities

• Availability to travel, up to 80%
• Work experience with equipment troubleshooting or commissioning
• Demonstrated hands-on mechanical and electrical system work
• Understanding of reading drawings and developing BOMs for costing
• Experience in industrial process control or a related field, or a combination of training and experience that provides equivalent skills, knowledge, and abilities
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial process control or directly related field
• Associate degree in electrical, mechanical, or instrumentation technology, or equivalent experience
• Candidates must be willing to relocate to Cleveland to complete training.
