Field Service Technician
Are you ready to step into the dynamic role of Field Service Technician within Carl Zeiss Industrial Quality Solutions, LLC? Join an exceptional team where your expertise will be instrumental in enhancing processes for the installation and servicing of bespoke equipment. As part of this team, you'll engage with customers and collaborate with various service groups to ensure the successful deployment of ZEISS products in the field.

- Installation, Repair, Troubleshooting, Servicing, and Calibration: You'll be hands-on, working directly with cutting-edge machinery at customer sites.

- Extensive Travel: Be prepared for significant travel within the service area, including potential international assignments.

Do you have what it takes? Here are the qualifications we're looking for:
- Educational Background: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Alternatively, a technical degree or relevant military training.
- Technical Proficiency: Prior experience with hand tools, basic electrical test equipment, and familiarity with Microsoft operating systems.
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift objects weighing up to 75 pounds unassisted, and willingness to work a minimum of 50 hours per week, including overtime.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in industrial environments and possessing excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license is a must.
Additionally, it would be advantageous if you have:
- Previous Experience: Installing and troubleshooting industrial electronics, machinery, or computer systems.
- CMM Experience: While not mandatory, prior experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines would be beneficial.
