Revenue Specialist

Role Healthcare Revenue Specialist responsible for processing and reconciling patient billings, insurance payments, and postings. Key Responsibilities Verify billing data accuracy, prepare and submit invoices, answer billing inquiries, contact insurance providers, submit claims, post payments, investigate denials, and communicate with patients and vendors. Review patient records for billing accuracy, manage delinquent accounts, interpret insurance benefits, assist with referrals and authorizations, and prepare financial reports. Maintain accurate records, support accounts receivable, and ensure compliance with policies. Provide administrative support, promote positive patient interactions, support quality initiatives, and perform additional duties as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, minimum 2 years in healthcare revenue cycle, knowledge of insurance processing, CPT/ICD codes, proficiency in Microsoft Office. Preferred: coursework in medical terminology, experience with Epic/SIS systems, and ambulatory surgery center billing. Skills & Abilities Attention to detail, confidentiality, multitasking, strong communication, record-keeping, knowledge of medical billing, and computer skills.
