Certified Surgical Technologist Opportunity

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or equivalent certified surgical technologist credential.
• BLS Certification.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Surgical Technologist in a surgical environment.
• Must be competent and experienced assisting with C-sections and OB procedures. (Client requirement).
• Experience in labor and delivery, LDRP, or women's health surgical settings preferred.
• Ability to perform perioperative duties including aseptic technique, instrument/supply setup, and intraoperative assistance for OB/GYN surgeries.
• Basic computer proficiency and strong customer service/interpersonal skills.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Hospital.
• Unit: Women's Health and Obstetrics (LDRP, OR support, Level II NICU coverage).
• Shift: Days.
• Shift Schedule: Friday through Sunday, 06:00–18:00.
• Standard Hours per Week: 36.
• Duration: 13-week travel assignment.
• Floats/Additional Coverage: May be required to assist across unit areas within the facility as needed.
