As Coordinator of Nursing, you will lead and support our nurses and medication aides, helping them do their best work while growing as professionals. We are the nation's leader in providing a comprehensive approach to the therapeutic process of a person who is recovering from the effects of a spinal cord or traumatic brain injury. You would be a great fit if you… Are a natural culture-builder who leads with consistency, accountability, and care for your team Enjoy coaching, developing, and holding nurses and med aides accountable in a way that builds trust rather than fear Are inquisitive and love to learn; you know healthcare processes and you want your team on the forefront of that progress Are comfortable navigating complex, whole-person healthcare issues that go beyond the scope of a single hospital unit or clinic Are skilled at working across multi-disciplinary teams and understand that everyone brings a valuable perspective to a resident's recovery Responsibilities include: Leading, coaching, and supporting nursing and medication aide team members on a day-to-day basis Protecting and reinforcing QLI's culture and mission Assisting with staffing coverage and scheduling to ensure resident needs are met Supporting onboarding, training, and ongoing development of nurses and med aides Serving as an on-call resource and providing off-shift support and supervision as needed Partnering with the Director of Nursing and Clinical Leadership on team development, competency, and compliance initiatives Education and Certifications: Current RN license to practice in Nebraska (or compact license) required Current CPR certification required Prior nursing leadership, charge nurse, or supervisory experience preferred Prior TBI, SCI, CVA experience preferred Vaccination Requirements: Annual flu vaccine is required during flu season. If needed, we will provide vaccination at QLI, free of charge. Location: On-site (in-person), 6404 N 70th Plaza, Omaha, NE 68104 Schedule: Full time, generally Monday through Friday, with availability outside of business hours as needed, including on-call rotation, given the leadership nature of this role.
