Job Description Immediate Opening for a Fulltime Loss Prevention Officer at Retail Store Pekin, IL. Location: Retail Store Pekin, IL. If you have any questions email View email address on click.appcast.io. Hours: Full-time / 40 hours per week. Compensation: $21.00 per hour. Benefits include Health Insurance, 401k, PTO. Responsibilities Identify and apprehend shoplifters through floor patrol and CCTV. Report writing. Interacting with local law enforcement agencies as needed. Provide courtroom testimony as required. Requirements Pre‑Employment criminal background and drug screen. Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 3‑4 hours at a time. Reliable transportation. Ability to communicate clearly and accurately through verbal and written means. Ability to write legible, accurate, and easily understood reports. Assertive yet controlled in dealing with confrontation. Trustworthy and able to work under little or no direct supervision. Attendance for scheduled shifts. Tardiness and absenteeism are not tolerated. Previous loss prevention experience a plus, but not required. High school diploma or equivalent (minimum). Criminal Justice or related studies a plus. Additional Qualifications Must obtain state required PERC prior to employment. Paid training will be provided.
