Join Our Team as the Head of International Operations – Portuguese & English

Are you a dynamic banking professional with a passion for operational excellence and international finance? Do you excel in leading cross-functional teams and navigating complex corporate banking landscapes? We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Head of International Operations to oversee our branch operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive strategic initiatives — all while fostering an environment of continuous improvement.

Location: MT New York, NY (On-site - 4 days/week)

Position Type: Leadership, Hands-on Role

About the Role

As the Head of International Operations, you will be at the helm of our branch’s operational success, managing end-to-end activities across a diverse portfolio of banking products. You will lead, develop, and motivate a dedicated team, ensuring that all operational functions—including treasury, funding, trade finance, and client service—are executed with precision, compliance, and efficiency. Your expertise will be pivotal in maintaining operational integrity, supporting treasury and liquidity management, and strengthening cross-functional collaboration within a global banking environment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Banking, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years leadership experience in banking operations, with a focus on corporate banking.
• Proven expertise in trade finance, treasury operations, foreign exchange, cash management, and international payments.
• Deep knowledge of regulatory requirements (BSA/AML, OFAC, OCC, Federal Reserve).
• Experience in an international or foreign banking environment highly preferred.
• Proficiency in banking platforms and Microsoft Office suite.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English is essential; 
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
