Site Reliability Engineer - Canadian Cloud

Tekstraton is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join our sovereign Canadian Cloud infrastructure division based in Montreal, QC (hybrid). In this role, you will champion platform resilience, automation, and observability across our mission-critical enterprise cloud infrastructure, ensuring strict data residency and high availability standards.Key ResponsibilitiesArchitect, scale, and manage resilient multi-region Kubernetes clusters and containerized platforms.Design and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform to deliver reproducible and audited environments.Develop automation tools, operators, and CLI utilities using Go or Python to eliminate operational toil.Establish SLIs, SLOs, and proactive alerting frameworks utilizing Prometheus, Grafana, and modern observability suites.Participate in a distributed on-call rotation, driving root-cause analysis (RCA) and blameless post-mortems for major production incidents.Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.3+ years of specialized experience in an SRE or DevOps capacity supporting production cloud infrastructure.In-depth operational knowledge of Linux internals, distributed systems, and core networking protocols.Proven track record automating infrastructure provisioning and deployment pipelines using modern CI/CD tooling.Familiarity with Canadian data compliance standards (e.g., PIPEDA, SOC 2) is a strong plus.Fluency in English; working proficiency or bilingualism in French is an asset for our Montreal office.
