This role is responsible for executing growth strategies, developing talent, improving sales performance, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.This is an opportunity to make a significant impact within a growing, values-driven electrical distributor committed to excellence, innovation, and customer service.Revenue & Growth LeadershipDevelop and execute sales strategies that drive profitable growth.Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and target accounts.Expand relationships with existing customers while developing new business.Establish sales goals and hold the team accountable to results.Monitor key sales metrics and implement action plans to improve performance.Sales Leadership & DevelopmentLead, coach, and develop inside and outside sales team members.Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Conduct regular sales reviews, performance discussions, and development planning.Support strategic customer meetings and key account growth initiatives.Customer & Market DevelopmentBuild strong relationships with customers and industry partners.Develop strategies to increase market share and customer retention.Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience.Stay informed on industry trends, competitive activity, and market conditions.Pricing & ProfitabilitySupport pricing strategies that balance competitiveness and profitability.Review sales performance, margins, and customer profitability.Partner with leadership to drive profitable growth opportunities.Ensure consistent sales processes and disciplined execution.Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner with Purchasing, Operations, and Branch Leadership to support customer needs.Improve communication and coordination across departments.Support inventory, project management, and fulfillment initiatives.Drive process improvements that enhance efficiency and service levels.What We're Looking For5+ years of sales experience, preferably within electrical distribution, industrial distribution, construction, or a related industry.Proven track record of driving sales growth and developing customer relationships.Leadership experience managing, coaching, or influencing sales teams.Strong business acumen and understanding of sales performance metrics.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Ability to analyze data and make informed business decisions.Proficiency with CRM, ERP, and Microsoft Office applications.Why Mars Electric?At Mars Electric, we believe operational excellence starts with great people.
