Sandblaster - 2nd Shift

Sandblast Operator This position is responsible for operating the sandblast equipment, material handling of large components, paint prep of machine components, and loading/unloading components from the conveyor line. Responsibilities include: Operating sandblast equipment Handling materials of large components Prepping for paint (wipe down, surface prep, mask) of machine components Loading and unloading components from conveyor line Maintaining area cleanliness Additional items as assigned by area supervisor This position interacts with other manufacturing personnel, project manager and area supervisor. Competency or position requirements: Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task Must be dependable and trustworthy Ability to work sandblasting equipment safely All Armor employees are also expected to demonstrate Armor's core values of being: Customer Focused Passionate about Work Solution Oriented Driven by Integrity Education and/or experience: High School graduate or GED Equipment used: Sandblast equipment Fork truck Proper PPE related to blast booth operation Computer Working and physical conditions: This position will be on the manufacturing floor and will be standing for extended periods of time.
