Operations Director

Overview Rebecca Bennett for Congress is seeking an Operations Director to join our growing 2026 campaign. This is one of the most competitive congressional races in the country and a rare opportunity to help build and scale a winning campaign from the inside. We are looking for a strategic operator who can serve as the organizational backbone of the campaign. You are someone who thrives on building systems, driving execution, and turning ambitious goals into results. This role is best suited for someone who thinks like a Chief Operating Officer. The ideal candidate is a builder who can create order from chaos, manage competing priorities, develop scalable processes, and ensure a fast-growing team remains aligned and focused on winning. The Operations Director will work closely with the Campaign Manager and senior leadership team to oversee scheduling strategy, candidate time, and campaign operations. Responsibilities Operations & Organizational Management Build and improve organizational systems, processes, and workflows that support campaign growth and efficiency. Ensure effective communication and coordination across departments. Track priorities, deadlines, deliverables, and key campaign objectives. Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve execution. Create structures that allow the campaign to scale effectively through Election Day. Strategic Planning & Execution Develop and execute political, advocacy, and stakeholder engagement strategies. Help translate campaign priorities into actionable plans and measurable outcomes. Oversee scheduling recommendations based on campaign priorities, political opportunities, and vote goals. Track political relationships, stakeholder engagement, and event outcomes to inform future strategy. Events & Candidate Support Plan and execute endorsements, roundtables, town halls, rallies, press conferences, and community events. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful event execution. Support candidate preparation and logistical planning as needed.
