Education Coordinator

Walden Street Schoolis a residential treatment setting for adolescents that specializes intraumainformed care.Walden provides 24-hour comprehensive care including a school on site, a full clinical staff, nursing staff, and direct care staff. Schedule: Monday - Friday 8AM - 4PM The position is full time Monday through Friday with overtime available as needed. Reports directly to Director of Education/Assistant Program Director. This position is ideal for someone interested in special education, particularly with students with mental health struggles. Compensation The pay range for this position is $23.00 to $28.00 per hour. The listed range reflects what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting the position. The actual compensation an employee is offered may vary based on several factors such as experience, education, licensure, certifications and qualifications. This range may be modified in the future. JRI Provides The Training So That: YOU will support students and staff in the classrooms and residential milieu as needed. YOU will complete primary duties include compiling written reports (including IEP progress reports, treatment reports, rounds), covering classes for teachers when they are out, supporting students 1:1 as needed, and supporting the Education Director with tasks as needed. YOU will support students before school at breakfast, and on non-school days in the milieu, through providing student supervision, educational groups and educational field trips as appropriate for individuals/groups of students. At least 1 year experience as a supervisor and administrator At least 3 years of experience working in Special Education with young adults with emotional disabilities Candidates with experience working with adolescents in an alternative school setting or treatment program are preferred.
