Waverly Heights is currently seeking a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. Waverly's CNAs play a pivotal role in the compassionate care and well-being of our residents. Our CNA's daily responsibilities include:helping with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote hygiene and comfortassisting residents with walking, transferring, and positioning to prevent bedsores and help maintain mobility and independenceassisting residents at meals with eating and drinking ensuring they are following their dietary requirementsregularly measuring and recording vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration and promptly reporting any concerns to the nursing teammaintaining accurate and timely documentation of resident's care, observations, and changes in conditionproviding emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting social engagement and a sense of belongingensuring a safe environment by keeping resident areas free from hazards and following infection control protocolspositively interacting with resident families and promptly addressing any concernscontinuing to learn and improve knowledge and skills by staying updated with training and certificationsadvocating for residents to ensure their needs are communicated and addressed with the care teamfollowing all guidelines related to confidentiality and HIPAA performing other duties to support the effective operations of the healthcare departmentOur full-time CNAs are scheduled 37.5 hours per week. Pennsylvania Certified Nursing Assistant Certification is required.
