Developmental Behavioral Pediatrician or Nurse Practitioner - Remote Job Description About Soar: Soar Autism Center is an innovative healthcare provider at the frontlines of the autism care landscape, a market with substantial unmet need. Soar is building a network of clinics where children with autism and their families receive life-shaping services that support them to thrive. We are building a differentiated service offering for families, advancing the standard of care in a rapidly growing market. Specifically, we provide integrated and comprehensive services to children 6 and under with autism. Our care model is focused on a hyper-specialized form of autism therapy called the Early Start Denver Model, or ESDM, one of the most research-tested approaches in ASD care yet one of the hardest modalities to find, in an integrated care team format. We craft individual therapy plans in deep coordination with families, setting goals that are ambitious and focusing on building skills that enable children to grow into their fullest selves. We provide care in a state-of-the-art, autistic-friendly facility, with the goal that a child’s time at the center mirrors an early childhood learning experience. We prioritize early intervention, comprehensive supportive services, and positive, developmentally-appropriate learning that meets the needs of each unique child and family. We have opened 26 centers in our 4-year history across Colorado and Arizona, all of which have quickly reached capacity and typically run with waitlists. We are now focused on scaling our platform and are looking to expand our Developmental Pediatric Medical Services program. Join us as we strive to advance the standard of care in autism care today! We are seeking a mission-driven Nurse Practitioner or Developmental Behavioral Pediatrician to join our growing Medical Services team. This role can be part time or full time, as we are open to both models. In this role, you will provide direct patient care to children with autism and related developmental conditions via telehealth, working closely with an interdisciplinary care team that includes parents and caregivers, BCBAs, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and other Soar clinicians. This position is ideal for a nurse practitioner or physician who is passionate about early childhood development, collaborative care, and innovative models of autism treatment. In addition to clinical care, this role will include close collaboration with other providers and Soar clinicians to help shape and advance our integrated care model. Core Responsibilities Provide direct medical care through comprehensive developmental and behavioral assessments and follow-up visits for patients with existing autism diagnoses. Note: This role does not include initial autism diagnostic evaluations. Collaborate closely with Soar’s clinical teams (BCBA, SLP, OT, psychology) to support and implement integrated care plans. Participate in multidisciplinary patient visits , working alongside BCBAs, parents/caregivers, and other clinicians to address patient needs holistically. Offer expert guidance on behavioral challenges, sleep, feeding, toileting, co-occurring conditions, and medication management when clinically appropriate. Engage in interdisciplinary case discussions and provide consultative support to Soar clinicians. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives as Soar expands its medical services program, helping to shape innovative, evidence-based models of autism care. Qualifications Board Certification in Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics or Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (preferably Pediatric Nurse Practitioner) Active medical license in Colorado and Arizona (or ability to obtain) Willingness and eligibility to obtain medical/ nursing licensure in additional states as Soar expands. Preferred: IMLC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact) or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) eligibility for streamlined licensing. Demonstrated experience working with children with autism and their families Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset Competitive salary commensurate with experience and FTE Malpractice insurance fully covered Licensing fees covered Flexible scheduling with remote work Comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match after a year of service Why Join Soar Integrated Care Model: Work side-by-side with therapists and families in a collaborative environment. Flexibility: Ideal for clinicians seeking part-time work with meaningful impact and remote work Innovation: Be part of a fast-growing, mission-driven organization shaping the future of autism care. Soar Autism Center is committed to diversity and inclusion at all levels. As an equal opportunity employer, we strictly prohibit discrimination or harassment and welcome applicants of all backgrounds, without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran status, disability, or other protected characteristics. #J-18808-Ljbffr
