A mission-driven human services organization is looking for an accomplished, hands-on facilities leader to shape the strategy, teams, and systems behind safe, reliable, and welcoming environments across multiple sites. In this role, you will lead a broad portfolio spanning diverse operations programs.

This is an opportunity for a resourceful, collaborative leader who enjoys turning complex operational needs into practical solutions. You will pair day-to-day oversight with long-range planning, guide and develop teams, strengthen compliance and preventive maintenance programs, manage budgets and vendors.

What You’ll Do

• Lead facilities-related operations across portofolio of sites.
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance, inspection, life-safety, fire-prevention, infection-control, and OSHA compliance programs.
• Prioritize work orders and coordinate staff and outside contractors to complete repairs and projects on time.
• Oversee HVAC and other building systems, monitor operational needs, and communicate significant issues to executive leadership.
• Track expenditures, manage departmental budgets, and analyze trends.
• Hire, supervise, coach, train, and evaluate operations staff while promoting accountability, teamwork, and high-quality service.
• Conduct site assessments and recurring inspections to support regulatory compliance.
• Respond promptly to emergencies affecting physical plants.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management or a related field.
• Technical training in basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.
• At least five years of related operations experience and five years of supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, life-safety and fire-prevention standards, regulatory compliance, vendor management, budgeting, and project coordination.
• Excellent organization, communication, customer service, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet-based tools.
• IFMA Certification preferred.
