Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Provide nursing care for patients with common surgical procedures and general conditions like small bowel obstructions and hip fractures
• Manage tracheostomies, chest tubes, NG tubes, and ostomies
• Perform cardiac rhythm interpretation and administer continuous bladder irrigation
• Operate EPIC EMR, BD Alaris IV pumps, and Omnicell medication dispensing systems
• Float to various nursing units as per clinical and staffing needs

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• 18 months of Med/Tele RN experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• NIHSS certification
