Real Estate Attorney (In House)

In House Real Estate Lawyer for Houston Company Real Estate Lawyers – Warren Recruiting is excited to announce a new inhouse opportunity for a talented real estate attorney. Our client is seeking a real estate lawyer with 3+ years of real estate law experience to lead the legal department. A focus on retail real estate is appreciated as this entrepreneurial company’s assets include a mix of strip centers, power centers, malls, lifestyle centers and neighborhood centers. This REIT offers a strong work/ life balance with minimal (if any) nights and weekends. Furthermore, as an in-house role, there is no business development required. Real estate lawyers with experience in retail leasing including Gross Leases, Net Leases, Triple Net Leases (NNN), Ground Leases and Percentage Leases are appreciated. The successful candidate will be able to work well in a team environment and be able to communicate effectively with clients and other team members. Key Responsibilities: Review and negotiate commercial and residential real estate leases, purchase and sale agreements, and financing documents Advise clients on real estate development, zoning, and land-use matters Qualifications: J.D. from an accredited law school 3+ years of experience in leasing, acquisition, divestitures, due diligence, joint ventures or real estate development law Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to work in a team environment This company is located in Houston, Texas.
