Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry unit, monitoring and responding to cardiac rhythms and patient status changes
• May be required to float to like units or lower acuity units across up to five campuses within the health system as needed (excluding the ED)
• Expected to work four weekend shifts per four-week cycle and at least one holiday, including the associated holiday weekend
• Complete all assigned online modules (non-billable, 8 hours each) by the designated Friday deadline following the document due date
• Maintain compliance with all required certifications, including AHA BLS and NIHSS

Required Qualifications

• Active California RN License in hand at time of submission (Temporary or Permanent; no EMSA)
• AHA BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 2+ years of concurrent experience in Telemetry
• Travel nursing experience required
• EPIC experience, or combined EPIC/Cerner experience, within the last 6 months of work history required (all units use EPIC)
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off (RTO); no new RTO requests accepted after submission
• One supervisory-level professional reference required at time of submission
• Must not live within 100 miles of the facility to be eligible; candidates who have been on assignment in the San Diego area for the last 9 or more months are considered local and are not eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating across multiple hospital campuses or units within a large health system
• Familiarity with SDU or ICU-level care in addition to Telemetry
• Availability for same-day interview scheduling, including across time zones
